Vetmarket is a family owned, Central Alberta based, online veterinary supply store operated by the team behind Nomad Vet Services. We serve farms, ranches, and pet owners across Alberta by making trusted veterinary products easier to access — without having to drive long distances or rely on big-box online retailers.
Dr. Colin Nicholas, DVM
Dr. Colin Nicholas is the owner of Nomad Veterinary Services and the veterinarian behind Vetmarket. Born and raised just outside downtown in Calgary, Colin has called Central Alberta home since 2018. He knew from a young age he wanted to be a veterinarian and always planned to work in a mixed-animal practice with a strong focus on cattle.
After graduating from the University of Calgary in 2018, Colin gained hands-on experience working with cattle at Maverick before returning to his original goal — providing care for both farm animals and family pets with Nomad Vet Services.
Brie-Anne Nicholas
Brie was born and raised in Rocky Mountain House and grew up with more cats than she can count. She hopes to one day continue this tradition with an orange clinic cat. Brie holds a Medical Office Assistant certificate as well as a diploma and degree in Social Work. She spent years supporting children and families in the Red Deer area before co-founding Nomad.
Today, Brie runs the day-to-day operations of Vetmarket alongside Nomad Vet Services, while also being a mom to Violet and tending her gardens. She's the friendly voice behind your orders, emails, and questions — making sure every customer feels supported and taken care of.
